I think that flipping the classroom means that lectures are designed for students to view at home and engage with the class materials before they come to class. Then, once they come to class the time usually spent on lectures is used for class activities.
I can see the benefits of flipping the classroom because it could create a more engaging classroom environment, but my concerns would be that students would be resistant because of what a great change it would be from the regular class meeting they're used to.
